Panel Discussion about new media and the African Diaspora with N-Lite Media and Cutting Edge Animation.

This discussion takes place in the lecture hall at the National Museum of African Art.

About MFINDA – A 12-year-old Congolese girl is transported to the Mfinda, a primordial forest of spirits, gods, and ancestors. There she joins another young girl and embarks on a journey to find the magical Nkisi in hopes of finding her way back home.

About Cutting Edge Animations ‘Captain Zero’ – Fresh from Tribeca Film Festival hand selected by Whoopi Goldberg. A short film about Black heroism and mental health starring acclaimed actors Keith David, Angelica Ross, Zolee Griggs, Z Cher-Aime & Coty Galloway – This panel is all centered around new media and the African Diaspora.
